What actually happens

One in a series of articles about how affirmations really work.

The Science of Affirmations teaches that when you use affirmations on a regular basis, they have the effect of reprogramming your subconscious.  (Remember, the subconscious houses all of the instructions by which you live your life).

The more you use affirmations AND combine them with action, the deeper that re-programming goes.

Here’s an example:
Let’s say you want to start eating more healthy.  Your affirmation might be: “I am  so excited now that I am embracing a healthy eating lifestyle.”

From this point forward, everything you say and do that is aligned with that affirmation, drives that programming deeper.
The more you continue with that affirmation, AND the associated action, the faster you move towards it being a manifestation in your life.

To really ramp it up:

  • Use the affirmation  on a regular basis.
  • Keep adding action to the affirmation.
  • Look for and acknowledge the progress that’s taking place.
  • Be grateful and excited about the changes that are happening.
